Director Adele Cygelman on the Making of “Arthur Elrod: Desert Cool”

One documentary. Two people. Seven years. That is what it took me (as producer, director, writer) and Alan Kraemer (as cinematographer, editor, composer) to complete our first documentary, Arthur Elrod: Desert Cool. This all started on Feb. 15, 2019, when my book Arthur Elrod: Desert Modern Design was published and when Arthur Elrod was honored with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of the Stars outside the Palm Springs Art Museum’s Architecture and Design Center.
