Ferrari Amalfi Takes on the Palms to Pines Scenic Byway

There is no mistaking the Coachella Valley for southern Italy’s Amalfi Coast, where centuries-old villages cling to limestone cliffsides along the Tyrrhenian Sea, and a narrow highway with tight hairpin turns runs from Salerno to Sorrento. The desert may not have turquoise waters, but we do have the Palms to Pines Scenic Byway, and the Ferrari Amalfi coupe feels just as happy and at home on this road as it would 6,500 miles away on the Amalfi Coast.
