From the Archives: 1954 Article Revisits Lois Kellogg and Fool’s Folly

After every tangible proof of her existence has vanished from the earth, still the name of  Lois Kellogg will gleam like a white light in the folklore of Palm Springs. Unfortunately, I never knew her — she had left the village several years before my arrival — but because I have heard so many stories about her from those who knew her and loved her best, I almost feel as if I, too, have been privileged to call her friend.
