New Book Celebrates Photographs of Marilyn Monroe on the Verge of Stardom in Palm Springs

“Bruno Bernard captured Norma Jeane not just as an icon, but as a human being first,” Rose McGowan writes in the foreword to The Marilyn Monroe Century, a new coffee table book from Bernard’s grandson, Joshua John Miller, and co-author Mark A. Fortin documenting Monroe’s rise to stardom through the lens of the esteemed photographer. The authors will visit Just Fabulous in Palm Springs’ Uptown Design District this Saturday, May 23, for a Q&A and book signing from 1 to 3 p.m.
