Preservationists Call This Palm Desert’s Most Important Building

The building on Highway 111 opened in 1948, designed by architect Harry J. Williams in the Pueblo revival style. According to the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation, it was the first commercial building on the first developed block of Palm Desert.
