Sky Watch: On July 4, The Planets Will Align

Fireworks will explode across the night sky on the Fourth of July, but you might want to wake up early (even before the roosters) that day to watch another spectacular sight in the sky. Find a clear horizon to the east starting around 3:15 a.m. and continuing until dawn. You’ll see Mars just below the Pleiades star cluster.
