Galloping to the Coachella Valley and beyond, the Palm Springs Hot Rodeo returns May 1–3, bringing an LGBTQ+ touch to an American tradition. The rodeo unfolds over three days at A.C. Dysart Equestrian Center in Banning (about 25 miles west of Palm Springs) and features roping, speed, roughstock (bull riding and the like), and camp (goat dressing, steer decorating, and the wig-and-dress kind of drag racing).
